MOXEL A/1

Moxibustioner MOXEL A/1 was designed to take over from conventional moxa /mugwort sticks as used in acupuncture to provide a heat source (HEAT THERAPY) and counteract harmful energy as produced by such elements as WIND, LOW TEMPERATURE and DAMPNESS.

Electro-moxibustioner MOXEL A/1 is free from any such inconvenience typical to mugwort rolls:

- Slow combustion
- Production of heavy smoke
- Their peculiar smell (which some might find unpleasant)
- Troublesome kindling and exinguishing
- Emission of contaminated infrared rays
(as caused by the ashes produced during combustion)

On the contrary, electro-moxibustioner MOXEL A/1 features:

- Emanation of pure infrared rays
- Rapid ignition of the resistor as implemented in the moxibustioner’s head
- Automatic switching-off as provided by the resistor’s timer after 5’ operation of the device to keep the resistor from prolonged overheating and from possible discontinuance.

Type A/1 electromoxator capable of issuing infrared rays with a heat value of approximately 650 C. The MOXEL A/1 uses 220V AC. When issuing heat the appliance has about 5 minutes autonomy to avoid prolonged overheating of the resistance inside the head as this could cause the appliance to cut out. It also has a special self-tester which runs a diagnostic test on the operating conditions. The MOXEL A/1 complies with CE standards and, in addition to the self-tester, is equipped with 2 heads and a metal support so that, after use, the appliance can be positioned with the head facing upwards. The CE standard compliant MOXEL A/1 comes with a three-year warranty and technical assistance is also assured even after this period.
